Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Cyberself at https://cyberself.app (the “Service”), operated by Cyberself (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Cyberself provides educational content about defensive cybersecurity, including lessons, quizzes, progress tracking, and optional Premium features (for example ad-free learning and unlimited hearts). Content is for learning and awareness; it is not professional security advice for a specific system, and it does not authorize unauthorized access to any computer or network.

2. Accounts

You may use the Service with a guest/local profile or by signing in with a supported identity provider (such as Google). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure. You must provide accurate information where requested.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for illegal activity or to harm others;
• attempt to disrupt, scrape abusively, reverse engineer, or overload the Service;
• misrepresent affiliation with Cyberself;
• share account access in a way that violates these Terms or payment provider rules.

4. Premium subscriptions and payments

Premium is an optional paid plan. Prices and billing region may depend on your location. International payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record where applicable. Payments for customers in Türkiye may be processed via iyzico when that integration is enabled. By purchasing, you also agree to the applicable payment provider’s terms.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, Premium is billed for the period shown (for example yearly) and renews according to the plan and provider rules until cancelled. Taxes may be added where required.

5. Intellectual property

Lessons, branding, UI, and other materials on the Service are owned by Cyberself or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for learning. You may not copy or redistribute substantial content for commercial use without permission.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that lessons are complete, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or abuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Surviving provisions (including IP, disclaimer, and payment obligations already incurred) remain in effect.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
